  • Start your journey to business/commercial EV charging by contacting Solas through our contact form on our website or give us a call at 1800 339 558.

    One of our team members will be in touch ASAP to book a free Zoom consultation.

  • Your Free Zoom consultation will involve a discovery of your needs.

    With the goal of finding the best position for your charger/s based on the number of residents/staff/visitors/cars and your current power supply and how you park your cars or fleets.

  • After purchase and paperwork is complete, our technicians will book an installation date.

    Where they’ll do a physical site survey and fix the required chargers / charge points to the wall. Cables will be run from the unit to the mains power supply, and they’ll be activated for use.

    Your technician will then connect your chargers to the Wi-Fi and pair them with the relevant chargers’ apps.

  • Finally, your technician will give you a full demonstration of your chargers, what the different indicators mean and how to manage your EV chargers for the best power optimisation.

  • Charge point installations in commercial environments are often more complex than those in residential locations, due to the varying availability of power capacity and more works required for trenching and mounting.

  • Yes you can just install one charge point to start with.

    However, it is best to consider what the full deployment will look like in time, some key infrastructure upgrades may be best done at an early stage, even if only a small number of chargers are being installed now.

  • We provide a remote survey via Zoom in advance of your install.

    Our Solas Technicians will then conduct a site survey when they arrive on the day of your install.

    As a rule of thumb, a 7.4kW single phase EV charger can delivery about 40km of range per hour.
